The Importance of Integrating Creativity into Your Social Marketing Strategies

August 13, 2012 by Blair Stover

Remember when social media first started? Everyone was so excited about posts and your one post would get clicked on 2,000 times a day (more or less, right)? You can hang up those days of dreaming. Unless you have 300,000 followers, you won’t get those kinds of clicks these days. Social media isn’t what it used to be.

The surroundings of social websites have evolved a lot over the past half-decade. Internet pages that let on as amazing business strategies have converted into options that are popularly equipped with marketing twaddle, discounts and people’s business schedules. Social websites have transformed from within by operating through the power of testimonials.

But why is social media so important? Who knows? I sure don’t, but here are the best answers I found based on the experts:

–       Business owners need to think outside the box when trying to create content for their company. Consider how your startup is comparing to other businesses like yours and how they fared.

–       Market your business by printing your logo on your shirt. Give some shirts out to family and friends. What could it hurt? Word of mouth is important!

–       Encourage other people to spread the word for you. Make others excited about your company. Get them to do the work for you. If you can somehow get other people to see how valuable your company is, then they will invest time and money into it as well. When they do this, they will get other people to do the same. It is a never-ending train of investing.
